Welcome to our new Website page on the Coronavirus and what this means for SEND families in Essex.

We are trying very hard trying to keep up with the ever changing Government Guidance during COVID-19 and liaising with Essex County Council (Education & Social Care) and our NHS partners so we can keep you all informed as to what we believe it all means for families in Essex.

We conducted our latest parent survey on Communication & Support with schools during COVID-19 between 22nd May to 31st May 2020.

We have produced a snapshot of our findings and a full report detailing the experiences of our families both positive and negative.

We have also created a dedicated email address for our families to raise questions and concerns they may have around services and support for the Forum to present and have addressed (where possible) at our weekly “virtual” meetings with key officers from ECC and the Clinical Commissioning Groups.
