New Autism and ADHD Service Providers (MID and SOUTH Essex)

Important Update: Autism & ADHD Assessments for Children and Young People

Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB) has announced an important update that aims to improve access to Autism and ADHD assessments for children and young people. As part of the changes, additional NHS-approved specialist providers have been introduced to give families more choice and help reduce the long waiting times many have experienced. These providers have been quality assured and will work alongside existing NHS services to deliver assessments, diagnosis and, where appropriate, ongoing treatment and support.

Families may also benefit from the NHS Right to Choose scheme, which allows GPs to refer eligible patients to a wider network of approved providers, helping children and young people access assessments more quickly where appropriate.
